You would need a step down transformer

Guessing you have the appropriate plug/socket adapters you would need a step down converter for some electrical appliances, or a step down transformer for electronic goods. Also be wary if your buying multiple appliances and planning on plugging it into a multisocket powerboard before plugging it into the transformer. The transformers have wattage ratings so the combined wattage rating of those appliances must fall below the wattage rating of the transformer. Depending on what you are buying some goods support dual voltage (most laptops and I believe the ps3 does). So research on your products before buying a transformer would be advisable.
