Yamanote Line ticket prices 2007/12/9 17:49
I'm trying to figure out before hand, the ticket prices for all of the trains I will be taking.

I've been able to find most of the pricing, except for the Yamanote Line.

Could someone let me know the prices, or give me a website that shows the pricing?

Thank you.

Here you go:

The cost is typically between 130 and 250 yen.

Thank you.

I have one more question.

Lets say I'm going from Ikebukuro to Ueno on the Yamanote line.

On the ticket vending machine, do I have to choose those exact areas on the screen, or do I simply choose the 160 Yen fare on the screen, and put in my change?

Thanks again.

You simply choose the 160 Yen fare and put in the money or the other way around. In case of older vending machines, you actually have to do it the other way around.
