Hi I would like to visit Takayama on 24th and Kyoto on 25th, do you know if the tourist places & market be opened?

December 24 is a national holiday is observed (Emperor's Birthday). Most tourist attractions are open on national holidays. As for December 25, it happens that some attractions are closed on the day following a national holiday. It depends on each attraction.
