Driving from Hakone to Gunma

Hi,

We are planning as part of our honeymoon to go to Hakone and Gunma area for the onsens. What we know is that Hakone is not too far from Tokyo and would probably takes us 2 hours to drive from Tokyo. My question is, how far would it be from Hakone to Gunma (Onsens area)? And how many hours of driving approximately? Any good sightseeing places along the way?

I recommend the following route:

From Hakone go to Kawaguchiko in the Fujigoko region (about 60-90 minutes via Gotemba). This is a nice area for a stop:

Then, you can take the expressway via Chuo Expressway and Kanetsu Expressway all the way to the onsens of Gunma (about 1.5 to 2 hours). A new section of expressways, which connects the CHuo and Kanetsu Expressways has been opened just a few months ago.
