Can anyone recommend a good cheap place to hire an RV or small van within Niseko area? We're after a place that offers good rates, winter driving set up (snow tyres / chains etc) for touring the rest of Hokkaido for about a week.

any car you hire in hokkaido will have snow tires etc. i haven`t rented a car from hokkaido but i have used the car rental advertised on this website. they were cheap, good and snow tires were included free.

Plenty in tokyo! Back to Hokkaido - I've looked up the ToCoo one thats advertised on this webiste but find it a bit hard to navigate, and the cars are all pretty new and don't seem to be that cheap. Does anyone know any hire companies that rent older but reliable cars at really cheap rates? (These kinds of rental places are popular in Australia.)
