What's my name in japanese? 2007/12/21 12:42
Hey all.

My first name is Alexander, which means defender of mankind.

My middle name is Michael which means, he who is like god.

well something very close to that anyway, i heard that the way to find out your name in another language is to have the definitions of the name, so i looked them up hoping that information was accurate.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's great that you included the meanings. That way someone (more familiar with kanji than I) can tell you a meaning appropriate name that you could use. I wish everyone included the meaning instead of blindly asking what their kanji is.

As for straight phonetic reading:

Alexander (Alex): アレクザーンダー (アレックス)
Michael (Mike): マイケル (マイク)
