Can somebody please tell me the cheapest hotel rates in any parts to tokoyo?

The south-western part of Tokyo is the most expensive.
As you go north-eastern, the rates gradually become lower.

You can find cheap business hotels in all parts of Tokyo.
On average a cheap business hotel might run from 5000-10000yen

try www.hoteljapan.net then click on various parts of Tokyo.
obviously Asakusa is cheaper than Asakasa...
this site is very good. You pay once at the hotels, not in advance. their price list shows the normal rate (if you come in from the street, without reservation, and the special(reduced) price if there is one. With too many Internet sites there is no way of knowing the real rate..
