Are the main train station names written in english as well as Japanese?

Daniel,
All train station names are given in both Japanese and Roman (it's not English) forms. In the Tokyo area, in particular, all station signage is provided in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean.

Also, on major lines, there are P.A announcements in English and in many cases a bilingual scrolling display above the door to the next car
