Wondering about Visa for WWOOF Japan

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a Visa for Cultural activities for WWOOF Japan and stay a bit longer than 3 months ( which is the limit for US citizens without a visa).
Anyone know about this?
Also, can anyone tell me where i can get information about farms for sale in Japan? Thank you

WWOOF is a volunteer job, since there is no Volunteer Visa, people come on Temporary Visitors status.
I doubt the people who organize wwoof or the people you are "assigned" to work for in Japan have the capabilities of being a visa sponsor for Japanese Immigration.

Couldn't the Visa be a cultural activities visa instead of another visa where you need a sponsor, such as for employment?
