'Mercian' brand Plum Wine

back in 2005 on my first trip to Japan I sampled a brand of Plum Wine called 'Mercian'. I can't recall which part of Japan that was in since I traveled from Tokyo all the way to the southern tip ok Kyushu. However, i remember getting some more from the 24 hours shop. I like it as I found it not as sweet as 'Choya'. But on my second trip to Hokkaido, Kansai and Kanto regions I couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where is it sold?

In 2007, Mercian transfered its Plum Wine division to Kirin. Though products themselves are sold under Mercian, Kirin may have changed its marketing strategy...
I'll post when I find some in Tokyo.
