Hi,
Can you help me understand the following and also the difference in the usage ?
停止状態とする[teishi joutai to suru] 停止状態とすること [teishi joutai to suru koto]
停止状態になる [teishi joutai ni naru]
停止状態になること [teishi joutai ni naru koto]
Very much appreciate a quick response.

The sentences sound like they are taken out of some kind of machine operation manual or something...
停止状態になる [teishi joutai ni naru] = It comes to a stop/stopped condition.
停止状態になること [teishi joutai ni naru koto] = It must come to a stop/stopped contidion.
For the two others, I would want to know the context to give the precise meanings.
停止状態とする[teishi joutai to suru] 停止状態とすること [teishi joutai to suru koto]
