Bus from Takayama town to Hida-No-Sato

1) where to get on the bus from Takayama station or town to Hida-No-Sato (Hida Folk Village)?
2) how about the bus schedule?

You should take the Sarubobo Bus (四季の丘 Line) from the Takayama Hida Bus Center just next to JR Takayama Station.

Buses depart approximately every 30 minutes:

As you exit Takayama Station, the bus center is to the left on a small side road. You can get the tickets at the window there.

The visitor center straight out the exit of the station is one of the more helpful in Japan. They can provide maps and help with hotels if you don't have one.

I like to take the bus to Hida-no-sato, and walk back. If you walk back you can see the lower section of the museum which only contains a few buildings, but you miss if you just stay up high at the main section.
