Hi, i've read everyone's questions about voltage coming from the States but I'm coming from the Czech Republic (I'm Australian) with a hairdryer from the Czech Republic. Will it work at all (even slower) in Japan? It says 230-240v on the handle. Thanks

not without a transformer.
It's probably cheaper and easier to buy a new one in Japan, or a multi-voltage travel hair dryer.

Deborah,
Japanese mains voltage is 100 V, so provided you have a plug adapter, it should work - just slower and cooler. Unless you are especially attached to your hairdryer, I would just get one in Japan.
