Advise on Itinerary

hi,
i will be going to japan in the end of march for 11 days. there will be 2 persons travelling. the following would be my itinerary :
day 1 to day 4 - tokyo
day 5 to day6 - fuji hakone
day 7-8 - kyoto
day 9-11 - osaka(sidetrip to himeji) & depart home

1)base on the above should i get a rail pass?

2)i found a 1-way tour package from tokyo-takayama-shirakawago-kyoto but not available for my travel dates (on JTB). is this package common or could be arrange with most travel agents in tokyo?

No, I don't think so.

KNT offers tours but Kanazawa-Shirakawago is not included.

4 days tokyo
tokyo tower, shinjuku, harajuku, shibuya, odaiba, sunshine city, disney resort, and you can also take a full day city tour

as for mt fuji 1 day is enough

Thanks for all kind advices. Since the travel date is a good 2 weeks away, i do welcome more suggestions as to sidetrips from the main cities (eg. tokyo, osaka, kyoto). TQVM
