I used to work fora Japanese comapny and I remember that there was a Japanese expression that was used to describe a person who had the ability to reacch out and touch many people in order to close a businessdeal. It was described to me as a mountain that had a wide skirt and thus covered a broad range of key contacts. does anyone know the Japanese expression that fits this situation?

I do not believe that the expression that was given me matched the answer posted.

Now this one does not have any "mountain" in it, but "jinmyaku" means "connections," and "jinmyaku-ka" means someone who has a lot of connections. When it comes to the skirt of a mountain, the answer I posted on the other thread is the only one I can come up with.
