i am staying in Nagoya and plan to travel to Takamatsu to see friends. What is the least expensive train/bus route to travel? any advice? many thanks!

There is a direct daytime bus and night bus between Nagoya and Takamatsu. One way is 6,800 yen. Round trip 12,200 yen:
