Transport in Kyoto 2008/4/27 00:10
Hi,

I am planning my wedding photo shoot in Kyoto in mid Nov in time for the autumn foliage. I would like to rent a car with a driver for ease of movement for 3 of us including the photographer. Any recommendations?
Thanks.

What recommendations are you looking for? Autumn leaf spots? A car rental company? A photographer?

About autumn leaf spots:

Car rental:

Note that the autumn leaf season is the most crowded time in Kyoto, especially on weekends. Finding parking spaces around popular autumn leaf spots must be a horror. Taxis might be a more convenient means of transport. It is possible to hire them for several hours.

Thanks Uji.
I meant the transport part. Understand that taxis are very expensive, hence any recommendations where I can rent a car/taxi with driver for half a day and how much would that be?

Here is a leading Kyoto taxi company with an English website to give you an idea:

If you google "kyoto taxi", you can find more services.
