Takayama Ryokan 2008/4/27 22:17
Hallo to everybody, I am planning to stay in Takayama for 2/3 days at the end of May. I am looking for a ryokan with onsen and toilet and bathroom in room. My budget is $ 150/180 per person (we are two travelers). I have dreamed this experience since a long time so I would love to stay in a special place. Anybody can suggest...thank you!

Traditional Ryokan use a shared bath 2008/4/28 12:03
There are some places that give you a bath with your room, but the hot springs is elsewhere and shared.

Sumiyoshi 2008/4/28 17:43
I stayed for 2 nights at Sumiyoshi Ryokan. It's a great place with antiques all over the places (including rooms) and very friendly staff. There's a japanese bath but it's not an onsen.
