tokyo transport 2008/4/30 21:45
i will be spending a week in tokyo, staying near Shinjuku, i plan on seeing as much of tokyo as i can and also include a day trip to nikko, so my question is? is there a ticket or a top up card that i can use on all the tokyo train systems( jr lines, under ground metro, ect). what ticket would you reccomend me getting or should i just pay individual fares every time, also i dont have any japanese so the easiest to use would be great too.
thanks

Get a Suica or PASMO card. Both work on all Tokyo-area transportation. For your purposes, there's no difference between the two.
