Hi,
I am traveling to Japan in May and will be staying close to the Ueno station. I will have the JR pass and 1500 of the Suica card. Can someone please advise how to get between each location and how long it takes please.

Meji ? You mean the Meji shrine in Tokyo? The railway station is Harajuku and you take the JR Yamanote line from Ueno, it takes 30 min and costs Yen 190. To Hamamatsucho it is the same JR Yamanote line, 15 min and Yen 160. For both you need not the JR Rail Pass what is only good value for long distance JR train travel.

this is why you need a map of the Yamanote line, as explained to you on your other posting.
