I have seen this accomodation advertised and it sounds very nice, but I am wondering if it is too far out of Matsumoto.
I plan to stay in Matsumoto for three nights and during this time visit Kamikochi for some hiking.
Can anyone recommend some budget accomodation closer to Matsumoto if this place is too far away.

It is about 2.5 kilometers from Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle. About 30-45 minutes on foot. Or a 10 minute walk from the nearest frequently served bus stop.
