Hi,
I can't seem to find much info on day tours/overnight tours in Hokkaido originating from Sapporo.
Any idea where I can find such info? I need tours conducted in either english or chinese.
Alternatively, I'm ok with 4 or 5 day hokkaido tour packages originating from Tokyo.
I don't plan to drive in Hokkaido so would prefer guided tours.
Places I'm interested in are Furano, Otaru.

I think you can definitely go to Otaru by yourself. It's not that far by train and it is a small place. You can walk around yourself. As for Furano, you can also take a train there. The train stops near Farm Tomita which is a nice lavender farm. http://www.farm-tomita.co.jp/en/index.htmlI'll be going there but i'm going with a Japanese tour bus.
