I'm traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto, but I plan on climbing Mt. Fugi inbetween my trip.
What do I do about my luggage?
Are there lockers on the 5th station where one can keep their luggage or something?
Or do I have to rent a hotel room in Fugi, only not to use it?

Hello!
I live in Kyoto and when I travel to Tokyo, I always send my luggage to the hotel I am staying. Usually it is only 1200yen and I think it worth it because you don't have to carry luggage around.
If you know an accommodation you are staying in Kyoto, just send it to there.
You should be able to send luggage from Hotel, or almost any convenience stores, like Seven-eleven,Family mart and Lawson.
