Hello,
I saw on another site that there are fireworks near Mount Fuji on the first Saturday in July to celebrate the start of the official climbing season. I am planning to climb Fuji that evening so I am curious to find out more about the fireworks, but I haven't been able to find any information so far. Does anyone have any information on this?

I am taking the highway bus from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko 5th station and I should arrive just about when the fireworks start. Do you have any idea if they will be visible from the 5th station area?
