What is Narita like at night?

We have an over-night stop at Narita airport, and a hotel near the airport. Is Narita City any fun on a sunday night, or should we make the 60-90 min trek into Tokyo? We are mostly interested in walking around and seeing some sights. Plane arrives at NRA at 1600, leaves next day at 1400. I wish we were staying 2 nights!
