about visa for chinese to go to japan 2008/6/23 11:31
i am a chinese citizen. now i hold a work visa and have been work and live in malaysia for 10 years. my questions are: 1) if i myself like to go visit japan, can i apply a tours visa by myself from japanese embassy in malaysia? 2) if i can, what document do i need to prepare for?

A Chinese passport holder do require visa to visit Japan. You can apply this at the Japanese embassy in Malaysia. Normally you need to submit (1) a letter from your employer showing that you'll be on holiday and (2) financial proof. For details, please check with the embassy.
