14 days Hokkaido Summer trip

Our 14 days trip covered: Kushiro - Akan - Shiretoko - Sounkyo - Furano & Biei - Sapporo - Hakodate - Tokyo.

Please help us on the following question:

Day 1. Arrived at Tokyo

Visit Furano specialties - Furano Cheese / Wine / Jam Factory, Anpan-shop, Trick Art Museum

Day 6. (5) We would like to try the hot air balloon, how to we proceed to the Alpine Visitor Center? How to make reservation?
(6) Are there any farms that we can visit at Furano - Calbee Potato, Fruit Farm?

Visit Furano Ropeway, Farm Tomito & drive to Land Kamifurano, Patchwork no Oka Hill and Shikisai no Oka Hill

Day 7. (7) To drive from Furano to Asahikawa, how far it is?
(8) How to get to Asahikawa Ramen Village?
(9) How far it is to continue driving to Sounkyo?

Day 8. (10) When we drive from Sounkyo to Shiretoko (Utoro), will we pass by Tokachigawa?
(11) We plan to stop at Abashiri before we proceed to Utoro, how far it is between Sounkyo to Abashiri then Utoro?
(12) Any idea on how to get to Abashiri Kanko Fruits Orchard?
(13) Any chance of seeing Tulip in late July? Thought of going to Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park.
(14) We would like to see the view of Okhotsk sea, would Kitahama Station or Cape Notori be a better view? And which suit our route?

Day 9. Visit Shiretoko Nature Center, Furepe Waterfall, Shiretoko goko (The Five Lakes of Shiretoko), Shiretoko Pass
(15) Curise along Shiretoko Peninsula Course, where should we board the cruise?
(16) Which of the onsen / bath is worth going? Kamuiwakka falls, Iwaobetsu Onsen or Seseki & Aidomari Onsen
(17) Does the Makkausu Cave luminous moss really glow? Do we need to go in the evening period?
(18) Does Rausu town has seafood restaurant offered at night?
(19) How far it is to drive from Rausu to Utoro, it is dangerous to drive at night?

Day 10. Drive from Shiretoko to Akan NP taking Route 240 (guess it about 3hrs)
(20) Any idea where is La Letori that has different flavors of ice creams?

(21) Take Lake Akan - Cruise to 4 islands & ''Marimo exhibtion & observation center'', where is the departure port?

(22) We would like to go to Ainu Kotan Village after the Lake Akan cruise. Any recommendation on where to stay at Akan Kohan town?
(23) Is there any Ainu performance?

Day 11. Visit Onneto Lake, Onneto yu no taki, Teshikaga, View points on Mashu-ko, Iou-zan mountain and Kawayu Onsen & Kussharo-ko

Day 12. (24) Drive from Akan to Kushiro, which route and time required?
(23) We would like to go for horse ridding, any recommendation? Is Tsurui Dosanko Farm nearby?
(24) Any recommendation for budget accommodation at Kushiro?

Day 14. (27) How far it is to drive from Kushiro to the Airport?

It is called "Japanese". In Tokyo, there are stores in the Marunouchi Building (Marubiru) just outside of JR Tokyo Station, Roppongi Hills, Ikebukuro Sunshine City, Shibuya Mark City and other locations.

(3) Has the tour for Shiroi Koibito Park - chocolate factory been resumed?

Yes.

(4) What is the last free shuttle bus that leave Chitose Factory Outlet back to the Airport?

Day 7. (7) To drive from Furano to Asahikawa, how far it is?

About 55 kilometers. Approximately 90 minutes. Biei is located halway in between.

(9) How far it is to continue driving to Sounkyo?

About 90-120 minutes.

(10) When we drive from Sounkyo to Shiretoko (Utoro), will we pass by Tokachigawa?

No.

(11) We plan to stop at Abashiri before we proceed to Utoro, how far it is between Sounkyo to Abashiri then Utoro?

Sounkyo - Abashiri: about 140 kilometers or 2.5 to 3 hours
Abashiri - Utoro: about 70 kilometers or 1.5 hours

(14) We would like to see the view of Okhotsk sea, would Kitahama Station or Cape Notori be a better view? And which suit our route?

You can see the Okhotsk sea all the time when driving between Abashiri and Shiretoko and from the Shiretoko Peninsula. The best views are from Shiretoko National Park.

(15) Curise along Shiretoko Peninsula Course, where should we board the cruise?

Which of the onsen / bath is worth going? Kamuiwakka falls, Iwaobetsu Onsen or Seseki & Aidomari Onsen

I do not particularly like Seseki and Aidomari Onsen and have not been to Iwaobetsu Onsen. Kamuiwakka falls is by far the most beautiful, however, access has become very difficult if not impossible:

Does the Makkausu Cave luminous moss really glow? Do we need to go in the evening period?

To be honest, it is not very spectacular, although, you can see some glowing.

(19) How far it is to drive from Rausu to Utoro, it is dangerous to drive at night?

About 25 kilometers. It is a curvy mountain pass road, but well maintained. If you are a good driver, you should have no problems driving it during daytime or at night.

Drive from Shiretoko to Akan NP taking Route 240 (guess it about 3hrs)

Why would you chose Route 240? Route 391 is much more direct and more interesting, since you pass Lake Kussharo and Masshu along the way to Lake Akan. It should take about 2.5 hours from Utoro to Lake Kussahro in Akan NP. From Lake Kussharo, it takes another hour to reach Lake Akan, not including a visit to Lake Masshu:

In the Lake Akan Kohan town. It is a very small town.

Day 12. (24) Drive from Akan to Kushiro, which route and time required?

From Lake Akan, take Route 240. It takes about 90 minutes.

(23) We would like to go for horse ridding, any recommendation? Is Tsurui Dosanko Farm nearby?

Tsurui is about an hour north of Kushiro.

(26) Should we drive and take train (Kushiro Shitsugen Norokko )
To Akan International Crane Center?

Day 14. (27) How far it is to drive from Kushiro to the Airport?

About 30-40 minutes.

Hi Cheyenne & Elva , you have a very interesting itinerary here, i saw that you have been to Hokkaido before, if you dont mind, i hope to get the itinerary/ recommendations from you. Have you been to central hokkaido? I would also like to get recommendations on hotels/ryokans stay.

Did you self-drive? I am very unsure which should be a recommended route to travel around Hokkaido!
