Moving back to US

My husband and I, who got married in Japan, have decided to move to the U.S. I will be petitioning him so he can become a permanent resident. The thing is, his mother is also moving with us. Can I petition her along with my husband?

Since this has to do more with US Immigration then Immigration to Japan, the best place to ask is just call the US Embassy or Consulate near you to ask.
