Hi,
Am planning a drive trip to Hokkaido in end September. The last part involves a drive from Kushiro back to Sapporo. I was told it would take 6 hours. As I am the only driver, its it wise to do it in one day?

It depends on the person. I personally have no problems, driving six or more hours on a single day, but I know several people who would not want to do that.
