1) Take the Narita Airport into central Tokyo 2) Take the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hiroshima In central Tokyo, you can change trains at either Tokyo or Shinagawa Station. Many people prefer Shinagawa, because it is the less confusing station. If you travel by Japan Rail Pass, an additional transfer of trains is required along the way. If you don't use the Japan Rail Pass, you can ride on a direct nozomi train.
