JR Pass and Suica

I'll be getting the JR pass, is it advisable get Suica card for subway and other major train lines? The place where I'll be living, Tokorozawa, uses Seibu line. Probably be using that line to get in and out of Japan.

Cub, I thought we had covered this in the previous thread you started... http://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+52502Suica/Pasmo cards don't save you any money, but they save the hassle of having to buy individual tickets each time. The downside is that you might be left with credit on the card at the end of your stay in addition to the 500 yen deposit, which effectively means you lose money. If you plan to travel quite a bit in and around Tokyo, I would recommend it, but the decision is up to you.
