Any festivals or fairs going on in Tokyo on those days? Any suggestions on things to do or see would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Outlying areas 2008/7/15 10:09
Unless you are specifically interested in Tokyo, or are too short on time, consider a day trip to Nikko or (closer) Kamakura. Outlying areas can be more friendly and upbeat, but also a relaxing break if you find Tokyo overwhelming.

thanks again and again... 2008/7/15 16:56
Thanks again for the info. Last time we came to Tokyo, we did a day trip to Kamakura, and loved it. This time, it's Tokyo only, as we have commitments each evening. Thanks again for all of the great info. Shana
