Hey all
I was planning a trip from Tokyo to Hakodate-Sapporo-Otaru.
Was thinking of using either the seishun-18-kippu or the Hokkaido & Higashinihon Pass.
A few questions: 1) Is the second Hokkaido pass valid with Moonlight Echigo?
2) I'd like to break my journey into two days - would Aomori be a good place to spend the first night (onsen perhaps?) before going up to Hokkaido?
3) Would Hakodate-Sapporo-Aomori make the best sense? Will probably catch a flight back to Tokyo in the end from Sapporo.
Thanks for any help!

Yes, both passes cover the Moonlight Echigo.

If you plan catching a plane from Sapporo in the end, finishing your trip in Aomori will not make sense, at all.

only two days ??
I guess it would hard to trip AOMORI-HAKODATE-SAPPORO-OTARU-newCHITOSEairport in one day.

Thank you for your replies.
Sorry I meant:
1st day: Aomori 2nd day: Hakodate 3rd day: Sapporo 4th day: Sapporo
then back to Tokyo.
I wish I had more time though. Not much to do at Aomori it seems...
