2 day in Fuji Five Lakes area 2008/7/14 01:22
Hallo friends!
during my trip to Japan a I plan to travel from Tokyo to Fuji Five Lake area and then continue to Nagoya. If you have any experiences, please help. My schedule:
- Oct30, morning bus from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko Station (does anyone have any idea o timematable+price?)
- Nov 1,leaving area to Nagoya (to be in Nagoya in the evening) - what is the the best way? Bus from Kawaguchiko Lake to Shin Fuji? Then train to Nagoya? (will have JR Pass). Have you any idea abopu timetable +prices?
Plus - what to see during the stay in Fuji Five Lakes area? Kawaguchiko Lake boat cruise, cable careride, 5th station exploration? What else to see?

The buses depart Keio Shinjuku Highway Bus Terminal once or twice per hour. Duration and cost is mentioned here:

I recommend to take the bus from Kawaguchiko to Mishima Station and catch a hikari train from there:
