hi. can anyone please tell me how long it takes to get to karuizawa(gunma prefecture) from osaka by train? how much will it cost? thanks!

There are two possible options, via Tokyo or via Nagano. Via Tokyo takes about 4 hours and costs 18,640 Yen. Via Nagano takes nearly 6 hours and costs 11,950 Yen. For this option there is just one train at 8.58 from Osaka to Nagano (Limited Express Wideview Shinano 9).
