Hi, my sister and I have 6 days in Tokyo before we go to Nikko for two days. Can you give us a few Day-trip ideas using the JR East line? (Both in our 20's)

Karuizawa is just 1 hr. JR from Tokyo. It's a trendy resort town with a big shopping outlet. The town is also a good base for visiting nearby Onioshidashi Rock Garden and Shiraito-no-taki waterfalls.
