Moon Viewing?

Does anyone happen to know the dates for moon viewing this September? I'm planning to see it in Arashiyama at Daikaku-ji Temple, but am getting conflicting information...

http://www.kyoto.travel/events/otsukimi_moon_viewing.html -- the Kyoto travel guide says that it's held on the 23rd-25th...

http://www.daikakuji.or.jp/english/event/index.html -- but the website for Daikakuji Temple says that it's held on the 13th-15th.

Help? Or if there's a better suggestion for places to visit for moon viewing, I'd love to hear them.

Pretty hard to beat outback Australia. No lights or no smog.
Mind you it was crystal clear when I was in Abashiri this February.

Is on Sept 15th at 5:15 AM Universal time ( whatever that is) Sounds like a oppertunity for a genteel party!

If it is the full moon you want to see it will have to be the 13th to 15th. By the 23rd to 25th it will only be a half moon.

The dates given by Kyoto travel guide seem to be for 2007.

Sounds like a great place to view the moon, I am looking for a great place as well. I will definitely check this out.

Does anyone know if you have to reserve tickets in advance for the dragon boat? The web site does not mention this.
