Nozawa to Monkey Park

We are staying in Nozawa Onsen in February. How do we get to the Jigokudani Monkey Park?

I assume you travel by public transportation:
1) take a bus from Nozawa to Kijima (30 minutes, 1 bus/hour)
2) bus from Kijima to Shinshu-Nakano (30 minutes, 1 bus/hour)
3) train from Shinshu-Nakano to Yudanaka (15 minutes, 2 trains/hour)
4) bus from Yudanaka to Kamibayashi Onsen Guchi (10 minutes, 1-2 buses/hour)
5) 30-45 minute walk to the monkey park

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Nozawa to Nagano and then a bus from Nagano to Kamibayashi Onsen Guchi. This is probably more comfortable.
