Hi to everyone, I'm travelling through Japan for 4 weeks and would need a bit of advice on a reasonably-priced accommodation in Nakatsukawa.

By reading the LP it seems that the crossing between Tsumago and Magome is worth the walk.

We were planning of sleeping in Nakatsukawa, but did not manage to find a place in there yet.
Any help?

Same question for Tsuwano, close to Hagi.

Why overnight in boring Nakatsugawa, if you could spend a wonderful night in an old inn in Tsumago or Magome.

In Tsumago, I stayed at the Matsushiroya (simple, rustic, very atmospheric, central location) and was very happy. The Fujioto gets even better ratings:
