Buying Seishun 18 Kippu outside of Japan

Hi,
I will be arriving in Japan in September, after the date that they stop selling the Seishun 18 Kippu. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy one online, or remotely through a travel agent? I don't speak Japanese (yet!) so not sure where to start.

No, I don't think it is possible. But maybe you can find a Seishun 18 Kippu (complete or partly used) in a ticket discount shop, which can be found around large train stations.

I will check them out when I arrive. I may also see if I can get my homestay to get one for me, as that should be arranged before the deadline to buy one.
