In early November, we are planning to fly to Tokyo on a night flight and arriving 7am @ Narita airport. ~ Transfer to Haneda. ~ Catch domestic flight fr Haneda to Shin-Chitose Airport ~ Shin-Chitose Airport to JR Sapporo (covered by JR pass). Staying @ Sapporo for 3 nights.
- Day 1 (arrival in evening) @ Sapporo, will visit Susukino Ramen Alley or rest, depending on time. - Day 2, will visit Historical Village of Hokkaido followed by Ishiya Choc factory then Okurayama Ski Stadium. - Day 3 will do a side trip to Furano and visit Cheese / milk factory and explore - Day 4, travel to Otaru via JR - Day 5, travel to Hakodate via JR - Day 6, travel back to Tokyo via JR for another itinerary.
But I have some questions... 1. Fr Sapporo to Furano, does JR pass covers the full journey? 2. What can we cover comfortably in Furano in a one day side trip fr Sapporo? 3. Are there any motorcycle product shops in Sapporo / Furano? 4. Actually wanted to allocate one night in Niseko to ski. But there's not enough snow in early Nov, so we're skipping it.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Note that there is a direct flight from Narita Airport to Sapporo at 11:30. It would be much more comfortable than traveling via Haneda Airport. Fr Sapporo to Furano, does JR pass covers the full journey?Yes: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6829.htmlWhat can we cover comfortably in Furano in a one day side trip fr Sapporo?Without a car, it is difficult to see Furano comfortably, except by taking a bus tour. But I am not sure whether bus tours are held in November. Public transportation in the Furano region is bad.
