First time to Japan 2008/8/11 15:36
Hi,

We're are planning a trip to Japan from 8 Nov 08 to 22 Nov 08 (tickets are booked). There are four of us and it's our first time to Japan. Our aim is to catch the Autumn season and have a relaxing and memorable time in Japan. Some of the must-visit places are Tokyo, Kyoto (understand that the autumn Kyoto is stunning) and see Fuji-Yama from Hakone and Kawaguchiko. We have also been advise to travel further East to Hiroshima and Miyajima.

As first timers, we are not too sure how long to stay at each place and how to plan the flow of the trip. Any suggested itinery? We are prepared to visit more places but are not too sure where else to go to make the trip more worthwhile so any suggestions are welcome.

Any specific itinery for Hakone and kawaguchi-ko? we are planning to get the 3-day Fuji-Hakone pass. We are also looking for ryokans/hotels with private onsen in kawaguchi-ko or Hakone depending on the recommended itinery. Any suggestions?

We're are planning to purchase a 7-days JR pass for the trip and will like to fully utilised it.

Any advises are welcome! Arigato in advance!! =)
