Question for Kansai area rail fans 2008/8/12 23:45
While looking for a station on the Sanyo Main line I found a missing
station. (If it's missing, how could I find it?).
Anyway, looking at the map in both the JTB and JR versions of the
Jikokuhyou, the station just east of Akashi is Asagiri. However, when
you look at the timetable for that line, the first station east of
Akashi is Maiko. Asagiri is not on the list. Does anyone have an
explanation?

Dick,

It's not shown because stations (such as Asagiri) served only by local trains are omitted from the long-distance Tokaido/Sanyo Mainline timetable.
