bus to mt.fuji on a sunday in september

we have an overnight stay planned in mt fuji on sunday 28th september. we have read that the best way to travel to the region from Tokyo is by bus (1hr 45mins from Shinjuku bus terminal) but does the bus still run on a sunday out of season (september)?
