Scholarships for college students

I was wondering if anyone knew of a foriegn exchange agency that offers scholarships to college students and provides a host family?

does anyone know?

have you checked normal scholarships?

most universities here (in japan) offer scholarships that pay for student's tuition and often housing as well.

also there is the monbugakusho which is a scholarship that pays for 100% tuition if i remember correctly.

i don't think there is any way you will be able to go through university here for free. there will be some expenses incurred no matter what. but even the public universities have lots of scholarships available to minimize the costs.
