Hi! Me and my sister are going to Tokyo in October and we want to know what the college district in Tokyo is, specifically the sohping areas: for cheap. For things such as books (in English or Japanese), eclectic clothing (anything as long as it's cheap. Used is fine as well),and shoes. arigato!

I think you'll find that Tokyo is laid out a bit differently to cities you are used to. In Japan having a college in a particular area doesn't necessarily mean you will find cheap/ eclectic clothing there.
I recommend Takeshita Dori (Street) as it is a centre of youth culture and has a lot of cheap clothes. There are also second hand shops in the area but they tend to be expensive. Take the Takeshita exit of Harajuku station on the Yamanote Line.
