JR Buses

Hi all,

Can someone provide a list of bus numbers in Kyoto covered by JR pass? I have already purchased the 7-day JR pass but is planning whether to buy Kyoto Sightseeing Pass Card or City-Bus All-day Pass. Thanks so much.

What do you mean bus numbers covered by the JR pass? Are you referring to the local municipal buses? If that's the case, none of them are covered by the JR pass. If anything, the only buses covered are the long-distance highway buses to Kyoto.

There is only one local JR Bus line in Kyoto. It goes from Kyoto Station via Nijo Station and closeby Ninnaji Temple to Takao and beyond. It does not have a number.

Few tourists except those traveling to Takao will ever use it. About Takao:
