Holding Luggage...

I will soon be visiting Japan for the second time. When I travel from Tokyo to Osaka I was thinking about leaving my luggage at my hotel until check-in time in the afternoon.
I was wondering, how do I ask the front desk clerk in Japanese to hold my luggage?
The only Japanese that I know is "nimotsu"/"tenimotsu" for luggage, but that is all :(

- Chekku in made, nimotsu wo azukatte moraemasu ka? (Can you please hold the luggage until check-in?)
They will probably ask you what time you'll be coming to check in.
