Traditional ryokan in Osaka 2008/8/23 09:17
Hi all,

I know this may be a long shot, but would there be a nice ryokan (traditional if possible) very close to Osaka? We would be flying out the next night and wanted one last chance to stay in a ryokan. P.S
how do you say ryokan in english? what does it sound like??

cheers

I don't think you should necessarily stay in ryokan in Osaka. How about finding one in Kyoto? There're more options and direct trains from Kyoto station take you to Kansai Airport.

I stayed at yougendo. 2008/8/24 01:03
I had a similar feeling last year . The Yougendo guest house is just out of Osaka and it was lovely and great for getting a train to the airport!
