While I cannot give you a specific suggestion since I am not familiar with Osaka, I would go for 'upscale Western' as a choice....

Typically, if you're a "traveller" you would want to invite to them to a place where they serve cuisine from your home. The best of them. Maybe you can ask your hotel concierge or tourist information office for recommendations.
